Course Brief:
HashiCorp’s Terraform Associate certification validates foundational knowledge and skills in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. It is intended for cloud engineers who can identify Terraform Enterprise features and understand on premises and cloud architectures. Candidates should have basic terminal skills and a grasp of cloud infrastructure concepts before taking the exam. The exam objectives include understanding IaC concepts, the purpose of Terraform, Terraform basics, using the CLI outside the core workflow, interacting with modules, managing the Terraform workflow, implementing and maintaining state, reading and generating configurations, and familiarity with Terraform Cloud and Enterprise capabilities.
